About this Event

If you’ve been following Jesus for a while, you’re probably familiar with the term “personal relationship with Jesus.” Something about that sounds compelling but in our world of broken relationships it’s so difficult to have a good frame of reference for what a personal relationship with God should look and feel like. The catch-all term for everything that happens in that relationship is prayer.

Our Prayer Lab series for 2023-24 will be a series of guided personal prayer sessions, designed to be interactive walkthroughs for various aspects of our relationship with God. They’re not just talks to be listened to; throughout the lab we will guide you through your morning personal prayer, helping you pick up skills you can integrate into your day-to-day life with God.

As we progress through our life of prayer, we may find ourselves running up against a multitude of barriers and distractions. How to deal with these things is one of the most common questions in the spiritual life and so in this workshop we will tackle it head on, giving you the tools to find even a distracted time of prayer fruitful.
